移走燈籠是裝置的一部份。讓家族的牌匾重現。

中堂對聯

消失了三十年的對聯，承載了祖先的訓示和期望。現在看來，仍然字字珠機，作為每個教育者的座右銘。

Couplet in Assembly Hall

The couplet that disappeared for thirty years, bore the teachings and expectations of the ancestors. Reading it again, every word is still sound. A motto for every educator.

石頭與對聯

愚公愚婦移石，採各地客家村石頭在此一聚，只為讓那散落一地的對聯有個基座。

Stones and Couplet

Like the folkfore of Old Man Yu moving the Tai-Ying mountain stone by stone, guys and gals of the team gathered stones from different Hakka vilages and brought them here. Only to create a base for the scattered words of the couplet.

我請三棟屋村長在新村物色一棵。村長說這棵樹有大氣，強壯，大方體面，天生天飬，常綠。

我覺得他在說客家人的性情。

Tree

A courtyard without plants is rather lifeless.

I asked the Chief of New Sam Tung Uk Village to help us acquaint with one. He said this tree is decent. It is strong, presentable, a natural survivor and always green.

I thought he was describing the character of Hakka people.

穀倉我們不能自給食物，連農具也無法保留。一根由荔枝窩復耕的農夫借來鑄成銅的祭物，見證著時光流逝。The BarnWe can’t produce our own food. We couldn’t even keep our farm tool. This bronze artifact, casted from a borrowed tool of a Lai Chi Wo farmer, witnessed the passing of time.
