對聯是家訓
家訓豈能忘
「耕也樂讀也樂能樂便樂士君子且從樂處用精神」
「創亦難守亦難知難不難大丈夫衹在難中尋志節」
但是對聯消失了
他們說客家人
刻苦順天家檔可賣氣節永存
當代藝術作客三楝屋
就由消失的對聯開始

Couplet, family mottos

Family mottos, words that should not be forgotten

‘Hard to begin, hard to keep; understand but not discouraged by hardships; the brave finds strength in hardships’

‘Happy to farm, happy to read; know and enjoy happiness; the virtuous searches for happiness’

But the couplet is lost

So they say…. the Hakka’s are

Hardworking folks abiding by nature Worldly possessions could be sold Integrity unyielding

Opening Reception

You came, we came, they came, everybody came.
It's a ritual to inform the ancestors. It’s a festivity for gathering together. It’s a hesitation, are we the guest or the host?
When navigating the crowd, our hearts beat with the house. We began to continue the legend of the old house.
